If you know which wig you would like, you can order products through our online wig store. Some guests prefer in-person fittings, which feature more specialty brands and are available by appointment only.

Do you offer custom fitting and styling?
We provide personalized measurements, cap selection, and basic styling guidance during private appointments. In-store purchases have an initial complimentary service list that is included in the consultation. These services include cuts and trims, band trim, shaping, general styling, heat styling and setting (if applicable), tucks and size alterations, clip adjustment and clip additions (clip price not included.)
There are additional options available as a separate service, such as custom color. Another service is clean, set and style, and comes with these options: for synthetic, heat friendly synthetic, human hair blends, and human hair.
These services are only available for products purchased from Hidden Secrets Wigs and Hidden Secrets Wigs online.
Do you accept insurance for medical wigs?
If you are experiencing temporary or permanent hair loss from due to medical
reasons you can file an insurance claim to potentially receive partial or full cost of
your wig, or more formal term, cranial prosthesis.
A cranial prosthesis is a wig for
medical patients who have permanent hair loss or temporary hair loss. A Wig is a
fashion accessory and is not medically necessary. Although they are the same
thing, for insurance, the wording matters greatly.
Your coverage depends on your insurance
plan and can cover 0% to 100% of your cost.
The types of medical hair loss covered by insurance include: Alopecia Hair Loss, Chemotherapy Related Hair Loss, Radiation Related Hair Loss, Thyroid Related Hair Loss, Kidney Related Hair Loss, and Cancer Related Hair Loss.
In order to turn in your claim into insurance, you will need a prescription from your physician for a Cranial prothesis. This prescription will have specific codes that align with your medical diagnoses. That code will be needed to file the claim.
If you have coverage for a cranial prothesis, that coverage will be in the form of reimbursement. You pay upfront online or in store and then send your receipt with your prescription to your insurance company. The receipt will have all the information your insurance provider needs.
Are the wigs online the same as the wigs in the store?
No. The wigs in the store are specialty brands, and are recommended for people who are seeking guidance with their purchase, such as first-time wig wearers. The website is a more affordable option to experience Hidden Secrets without coming into the store.
